The Cleveland HiBore XL is the most forgiving driver Cleveland has ever built, and the unique triangular head shape it wears is not a styling exercise - it is the direct result of using AI to maximise forgiveness. The brief was simple: make the face as large as possible while keeping weight low and deep. The outcome is the distinctive tapered chassis with a low rear weight that became the signature HiBore XL look. The face has 19 percent more surface area than the previous Cleveland driver, which in real-world testing delivers approximately 17 more yards on extreme off-centre strikes and around 24 percent fewer partially missed shots compared to the Launcher XL 2.

The triangular footprint also reduces vibration in the sole and crown, which produces a cleaner, more satisfying sound at impact. If you want maximum forgiveness in a driver that actually looks different from everything else in the market for a reason, this is it.
