Description

The Ping i540 Irons combine a refined players inspired profile with powerful distance, higher launch and improved stopping power. Weight savings from a lighter, shallower face and covered cavity allow tungsten to be positioned low in the 4 to 7 irons, lowering the centre of gravity for increased ball speed and easier launch. A forged variable thickness maraging steel face is 9 percent thinner, creating greater flex and metalwood like bending for faster speeds, increased distance and higher peak trajectories.

Ping inR Air Technology places a specially engineered internal airbag behind the face to filter frequencies and enhance sound and feel without restricting face flex. New i Beam Technology adds structural support across the cavity and works with the 17 4 stainless steel body to further refine the impact experience, creating an iron that combines powerful performance with responsive feedback and a premium feel.
