Description

The Cobra OPTM MAX-D Driver is the slice-busting, fairway-finding option in the OPTM range. It combines maximum draw bias with the OPTM accuracy technology to attack two problems at once - it corrects your shot shape and reduces side spin at the same time. The fixed 11g heel weight moves the centre of gravity closer to the hosel, making it easier to get the ball up in the air and close the face naturally through impact. Add in the OPTM anti-side-spin shaping and you have a driver that is genuinely working with you to find the short grass.

Like all OPTM drivers, it is built around minimising Products of Inertia across multiple axes so that miss-hits stay straighter rather than curving further away from the target. The forged H.O.T. Face insert maintains ball speed and improved flex on every strike, and FutureFit33 gives you 33 loft and lie settings with SMARTPAD keeping the face square. Maximum forgiveness, maximum draw bias, tighter dispersion - a strong combination for golfers who have had enough of watching their ball drift right.

Key Features

  • Maximum draw bias design with fixed 11g heel weight - moves CG towards the hosel for easier face closure and right-to-left ball flight
  • OPTM technology minimises Products of Inertia to reduce side spin and correct slice across the face
  • Draw-biased head shape reduces side spin on mishits for longer, straighter ball flights
  • Maximum forgiveness for consistent performance even on off-centre strikes
  • Forged face insert with H.O.T. Face technology for consistent ball speed on every hit
  • FutureFit33 hosel - 33 loft and lie settings, plus or minus 2 degrees with SMARTPAD face-square design
