Frequently Asked Questions

What Motocaddy products does Tony Valentine stock?

We stock the full Motocaddy range across both our Corsham and Swindon stores, including electric trolleys, push trolleys, and accessories.

Which Motocaddy electric trolley should I buy?

That depends on what you want from it. If you want the full premium GPS and remote experience the M-TECH or M7 GPS Remote are the ones to look at, and if you want something reliable and straightforward the SE or S1 are excellent. Come in store and our team will help you work through the options based on how and where you play.

What is the difference between the Motocaddy M-Series and S-Series?

The main difference is the folded footprint. M-Series trolleys fold more compactly than S-Series trolleys, making them easier to store in smaller car boots. Both ranges offer excellent reliability and build quality.

What is Downhill Control and do I need it?

Downhill Control automatically regulates the trolley's speed on slopes and applies braking to slow descent, with an electronic parking brake that holds the trolley securely on uneven lies. If you play on a hilly or undulating course, it is a feature worth having.

What is EASILOCK and how does it work?

EASILOCK locks the bag onto the trolley and removes the need for a lower bag strap. Pins on the base of compatible Motocaddy bags align with the trolley's bag support, securing the bag before the upper strap is applied.

Does Motocaddy make push trolleys?

Yes. The push trolley range includes the lightweight Z1, the quick-folding P1, and the compact CUBE, all built with the same quality and attention to detail as the electric range.
What accessories are available for Motocaddy trolleys?

What accessories are available for Motocaddy trolleys?

Motocaddy accessories include GPS and phone cradles, drinks and umbrella holders, rain covers, winter wheels, and travel covers, most of which attach directly to the handle station. We stock a range of accessories in both stores.

Does Motocaddy offer a warranty?

Yes. Most Motocaddy electric trolleys come with a standard warranty, and the flagship M-TECH carries an extended three-year warranty. Speak to our team in store for details on the warranty applicable to the model you are interested in.

How long does a Motocaddy battery last?

Battery range varies by model and terrain, but most Motocaddy lithium batteries are designed to comfortably cover a full 18-hole round. Our team can advise on Standard versus ULTRA battery options depending on how far you typically walk.

Motocaddy Collection

Motocaddy: Trolleys, Bags, and Accessories Built for British Golf

Motocaddy is one of the most recognised names in golf trolleys, and the range at Tony Valentine reflects exactly why. From the entry-level QB2 push trolley through to the flagship M7 Remote GPS, every model is engineered for the realities of walking British courses: hilly fairways, soft winter ground, and the kind of weather that asks a lot of equipment.

A trolley for every kind of golfer

The QB2 push trolley is the natural starting point if you want a fold-flat, lightweight option in a clear colour choice (Blue, Lime, Red, Charcoal). For electric assistance, the entry to mid-range covers the SE, S1, S1 DHC, and M-TECH, ideal if you want the help of a powered trolley without the full premium feature set. The M-series steps up from there: the M1 covers the essentials, the M5 GPS adds full course mapping with hole distances and shot tracking, and the M7 Remote sits at the top of the range with full remote control operation and an optional GPS variant. DHC (Downhill Control) variants are available across the line, automatically slowing the trolley on descents.

Battery options matched to how often you play

Motocaddy offers two main battery formats. The 18 Hole Lithium is the standard option for golfers playing one round at a time, while the Ultra Lithium provides extended range for 36-hole days, twilight rounds with extras, or peace of mind in cold weather when battery performance dips. Most M-series trolleys are available with either, and replacement M-Series 28V batteries (Standard and Extended) are stocked separately.

Cart bags built to mount cleanly

The Pro Series 2025 cart bag is Motocaddy's flagship, with EasiLock fitment that locks directly onto the trolley base, available in Black/Blue, Black/Red, and Black/Lime. The Dry Series adds full waterproof construction in Charcoal/Blue and Charcoal/Red for golfers who play through the wet months. The Protekta in White/Grey rounds out the lighter colour options.

Accessories that turn a trolley into a setup

The Motocaddy accessory range covers everything you need to personalise your trolley: Drinks Holder, Scorecard Holder, Umbrella Holder, Device Cradle, Universal Accessory Station, and the Essential Accessory Pack which bundles common pieces. For winter rounds, the 28V Hedgehog Winter Wheels (with DHC variant) give you traction across soft ground, and the Hot Mitts heated mittens keep your hands warm between shots. The Anti-tip Wheel adds stability on uneven terrain.

Try Motocaddy at Tony Valentine

Visit our Corsham or Swindon stores to see the Motocaddy range, compare models side by side, and get a feel for the controls, fold mechanism, and battery options. Our team can talk you through the differences between the M-series tiers, help you match a cart bag to your chosen trolley, and recommend the right accessory bundle based on how and where you play.
