Frequently Asked Questions

What's the difference between Pro V1, Pro V1x, and Pro V1x Left Dash?

The Pro V1 is the lower-flight option of the family with softer feel, suiting players who want a mid-trajectory tour ball. The Pro V1x flies higher, spins slightly more on full shots, and feels firmer at impact, ideal for players who want more peak height or who play in firmer conditions where higher flight helps stopping power. The Pro V1x Left Dash takes the Pro V1x construction but lowers full-swing spin, originally developed for tour players who needed Pro V1x feel and flight but with reduced spin. Choose Pro V1 for lower trajectory and soft feel, Pro V1x for higher launch and firmer feel, Left Dash if you spin the ball too much with regular Pro V1x.

How do I choose the right Vokey wedge grind?

Vokey grinds are designed around your turf conditions, attack angle, and shot preference. The S grind (Standard) suits firm turf with a square face. The F grind (Full) suits full shots and works across most conditions. The K grind (high bounce, wide sole) is built for soft turf and bunkers. The D grind (high bounce, narrower sole) gives versatility around the greens. The L grind suits firm turf with a slimmer sole for opening the face. The M grind is the most versatile around the greens for opening, closing, and shaping shots. If you're not sure, our team can walk you through grind selection during a wedge fitting at our Corsham or Swindon stores.

What does StaDry mean on Titleist bags?

StaDry is Titleist's waterproof construction technology, giving you full waterproof protection across the bag including seam-sealed zippers and welded panels. The Players 4 StaDry and Cart 14 StaDry models are designed for genuinely wet rounds rather than just light shower protection. If you regularly play through British winter, autumn, or rainy conditions, the StaDry tier is the right choice. The standard Players 4 and Cart 14 bags are water-resistant but not fully waterproof.
