The Apex 19 is one of the best regarded players distance irons Callaway has produced. It pairs a forged 1025 mild carbon steel body with a wrapped 360 Face Cup in the long and mid irons, so you get genuine forged feel alongside the ball speed you would normally only find in a hollow distance iron.

Tungsten weighting is used through the set to place the centre of gravity precisely for each head, giving high, stable flight in the long irons and tighter, more controlled ball flight in the scoring clubs. Twenty layers of urethane microspheres sit behind the face to absorb unwanted vibration without slowing the face down. A genuinely versatile set that suits a mid handicapper who still wants to shape shots.
