Callaway called the Elyte its most adjustable hybrid ever and the spec sheet backs it up. There are two weight ports in the sole holding a 13 gram tungsten weight and a 3 gram aluminium weight, and swapping them between heel and toe shifts the bias between neutral and draw. Callaway reckons the weighting and hosel together are worth up to 13 yards of shot shaping.

The face is the new Ai10x design, which uses ten times the control points of the previous Ai Smart Face to smooth out ball speed across the hitting area. Above that sits the Optifit 4 hosel with seven loft and lie combinations, so gapping can be tuned precisely rather than approximately. The head is mid-sized with a shallow face and a matte black crown, and it launches high without ballooning. At 21 degrees in stiff it is a proper 4 iron replacement.
