Callaway describe the Great Big Bertha as their most powerful fairway wood, and the construction backs that up. Rather than the usual steel body, this one uses titanium for the face and body, which is normally reserved for drivers. Titanium is lighter and stronger than steel, so the head can be bigger and more forgiving while the centre of gravity sits lower than steel would allow.

A forged carbon sole and multi material weighting free up even more mass, and the AI designed titanium face cup works with Jailbreak and Batwing Technology to push stiffness out to the perimeter while the face stays free to flex. It is a lightweight overall build aimed squarely at moderate swing speeds, which is exactly who gets the most out of it. Regular flex, adjustable hosel.
