Opus is Callaway's best wedge design and the technology story centres on one thing, which is spin. Spin Gen Face Technology combines three separate elements working together. The groove pitch is tighter than before, meaning more grooves sit on the face and there are simply more opportunities to grab the cover of the ball.

On top of that sits an offset groove in groove pattern that keeps generating spin when you open the face for a flop or a bunker shot, and an aggressive face blast that adds surface roughness for bite on partial shots. Callaway shaped the head with tour player input so it sits confidently behind the ball. At 52 degrees this is a gap wedge, the club that covers the yardage between a pitching wedge and a sand wedge, and it is built here on a lighter graphite shaft in ladies flex.
