The Opus is a strong choice for that job because everything about the face design is built around generating spin when the ball is barely on the club for any time at all.

Spin Gen Face Technology brings three things together. A tighter groove pitch adds grooves to the face, an offset groove in groove pattern keeps spin coming when you lay the face open, and an aggressive quartz face blast increases friction for bite on the short shots where spin matters most. Callaway spent a great deal of time on the shaping with tour players, and it shows in how confidently the head sits. Built here on a graphite shaft in ladies flex.
