The RAZR X Black is a black finished version of Callaway's popular RAZR X game improvement iron from around 2011. It was designed for golfers who want an easy launch and plenty of forgiveness, with a head that frames the ball well at address and a finish that stands out from the usual chrome.

The deep cavity back pushes weight to the perimeter of the head so it stays stable on shots struck away from the centre, and the low centre of gravity helps get the ball up quickly from the fairway and rough. As a full set running 4 iron to pitching wedge plus approach and sand wedges, it covers everything from long approaches to greenside bunker shots, which makes it good value for anyone building a bag.
