Cleveland have been making wedges longer than almost anyone and the Full Face concept is one of their smarter ideas. The grooves extend right across the face and up into the toe, which sounds like a small detail until you realise that opening the face for a flop or a bunker shot moves contact into exactly the area where a normal wedge runs out of grooves.

The sole is a C shape with meaningful heel and toe relief, so the club sits low and does not lift the leading edge when you lay the face open. ZipCore removes heavy material from the heel and hosel and replaces it with a low density core, pulling the centre of gravity toward the middle of the face and raising the moment of inertia. UltiZip grooves are sharper and deeper to clear grass and water from the impact zone. A 54 degree is the versatile choice here.
