The King Forged Tec is Cobra's hollow body players distance iron and it is a lot of iron for the money. The body is forged from 1025 carbon steel and hollowed out, with a thin, fast face and a foam microsphere filling behind it that takes the tinny sound out of a hollow head.

Cobra uses a substantial internal tungsten weight, positioned differently through the set, to keep the centre of gravity in the right place for each iron. That means the long irons launch easily while the scoring irons stay controlled. Combined with a compact, low offset shape, it suits a mid handicapper who wants distance without an oversized head. Set covers 5 iron to pitching wedge plus a gap wedge in stiff flex.
