The MP-37 is a proper piece of Mizuno history. Introduced in 2004 as a forged muscle back, it was slightly more compact than the MP-33 that came before it, with minimal offset, a flatter mid sole and a repositioned centre of gravity that produced a mid trajectory rather than the very low flight most blades of the era gave you. Grain Flow Forged from 1025 mild carbon steel, it delivers the soft, solid feel that keeps Mizuno forgings in bags decades after release.

This set covers 5 iron to pitching wedge on True Temper R300 shafts, which is a regular flex weighted at a traditional playing weight. It is an iron for a genuine ball striker who values feedback and workability over forgiveness, and it will tell you in no uncertain terms when you miss the centre. A lovely classic set at a very fair price.
