The Mizuno Pro 245 is the most playable set in the Pro range, described by Mizuno as a hot metal blade. It has the compact, traditional look of a muscle back at address but hides a hollow body construction that produces considerably more ball speed than the shape suggests.

The 2 to 8 irons use a Grain Flow Forged 4135 chromoly face and neck with a laser welded stainless back piece, while a suspended 46 gram tungsten weight in the longer heads lifts launch without stopping the sole from flexing. The 9 iron through gap wedge switch to a more compact partial hollow build in softer 1025E carbon steel for better flight control. A copper underlay beneath the nickel chrome finish gives that unmistakable Mizuno feel.
