Fitted with a Dynamic Gold Tour Issue Spinner wedge flex steel shaft.

A 50 degree is the gap wedge slot, the club that covers the yardage between a modern pitching wedge and a sand wedge. Lofts have crept stronger across iron sets over the years, which is exactly why this club has become essential rather than optional for most golfers building a properly gapped bag.

The S grind is the right sole for that job. It has limited relief and a fuller shape, which is what you want on a wedge that spends most of its life hitting square faced full shots into greens rather than being laid open around them. Mizuno vary the groove design by loft, and the 46 to 52 degree heads get 17 narrower grooves with a more vertical milling pattern, tuned specifically for full shot spin. Quad Cut Plus grooves and HydroFlow micro grooves complete the package.
