The G15 was one of Ping's most popular families and the fairway wood earned a reputation for being genuinely easy to hit. A thin stainless steel face and a low, deep centre of gravity give a high launch without much effort from the player.

Ping's external weight pad on the sole keeps mass low and back, which adds stability on off centre strikes. It is an older club now, but a G15 3 wood still does the job for a lot of golfers and represents excellent value second hand. This one is in soft regular flex, which suits a smoother or slower tempo.
