The G430 is Ping’s classic distance and forgiveness iron, and it remains a firm favourite with club golfers for good reason. A thinner, more flexible face is supported by a seven piece PurFlex badge that tunes how the face flexes and takes the edge off impact sound, so the extra ball speed does not come with a harsh, clicky feel.

Weight saved in the face is pushed low and back in the head, which lifts MOI and helps the ball climb without the golfer having to work at it. This set runs from the 7 iron through to a pitching wedge, plus 45 and 50 degree gapping wedges, so the yardages at the shorter end are already sorted. The orange dot lie code sits two degrees upright of standard.
