Srixon do not shout as loudly as some of the bigger names, which is exactly why their clubs tend to be good value used. The ZX Mk II fairway is a properly well made head, and the 5 wood loft is arguably the most useful fairway wood in the bag for most club golfers, easier to launch than a 3 wood but with enough distance to matter.

The key piece is the Rebound Frame, a series of alternating flexible and rigid zones running from the face back through the body. The idea is that energy which would normally be lost into the head gets bounced back toward the ball instead. Combined with a cup face design and a low centre of gravity, the ZX Mk II launches high and holds its line well. Regular flex makes this a straightforward fit for most players.
