**NO HEADCOVER**

The D in D-Type stands for draw, and TaylorMade went about it in a smarter way than simply bending the hosel. Internal weight is shifted toward the heel while the toe area is visually lightened with a contrasting finish, which makes the head look square at address even though it is set up to close through impact. The result is a draw bias you feel in the ball flight rather than see in the setup.

Everything else is core M2. A six layer carbon composite crown saves significant weight from up top, allowing mass to be placed low and deep. Geocoustic sole shaping tunes the sound and feel while freeing up more face area, and the Speed Pocket underneath keeps ball speed respectable on thin strikes. At 9.5 degrees in senior flex this is a light, easy combination for a smoother swing that still fades the ball more than it would like.
