Fitted with a Ventus TR Blue 5 Regular flex graphite shaft.

Qi10 stands for Quest for Inertia, and forgiveness was the whole point of this driver family. TaylorMade used an Infinity Carbon Crown that stretches right to the edges of the head, removing the painted titanium border entirely and freeing up a significant chunk of weight. That mass went low and to the perimeter, lifting the moment of inertia and making the head far more resistant to twisting when you miss the middle.

At 12 degrees this is one of the highest lofted heads in the range, which makes it an excellent fit for a golfer with a moderate swing speed who needs help generating carry. Paired with a regular flex shaft, it is set up to launch high and stay in the air. The 60X Carbon Twist Face and Speed Pocket protect ball speed low on the face, so even thinner strikes hold up better than they should.
