Fitted with an Ultralite regular flex graphite shaft.

The original Rescue is the club that started the whole hybrid category, and the Rescue Mid is a proper piece of golf equipment history. TaylorMade worked out that a small, shallow wood head with a low centre of gravity was far easier to hit from the rough than a 2 iron, and the rest of the industry spent the next decade catching up.

The Mid sits between the original Rescue and the Rescue Dual in size, with a compact profile that appeals to players who prefer to see less club behind the ball. It launches easily, comes out of a bad lie far better than an equivalent long iron and, at this price, makes a superb spare or a low cost way of filling a gap at the top of the bag. Sometimes the old ones still work perfectly well.
