A 6 hybrid is one of the most underrated clubs you can carry, replacing a mid iron that many golfers simply cannot hit consistently well. The SIM2 Max Rescue is the more forgiving of TaylorMade's two hybrid models from this generation, with a slightly larger head and a lower centre of gravity that makes it noticeably easier to launch from the turf.

The V Steel sole geometry keeps the club moving cleanly through grass, which matters enormously on the sort of shots where you would otherwise be reaching for a 6 iron out of the semi. A Thru Slot Speed Pocket behind the face protects ball speed on low strikes. At 28 degrees with a regular flex shaft, this is a genuinely useful club for a mid to high handicap golfer.
