TaylorMade Spider ZT Max CounterBalance Putter

The Spider ZT Max CounterBalance takes the maximum-MOI platform of the ZT Max and adds a counterbalance shaft and longer length to suit golfers who anchor or prefer a heavier feel in the hands. Four heavy steel and tungsten corner weights frame a low-density, aerospace-grade aluminium body to maximise perimeter weighting, while the KBS GPS Custom Graphite shaft is fitted with additional weight near the grip end to shift the balance point higher and promote a smoother, more pendulum-like stroke. The head weight increases to 398g to maintain feel at the longer lengths.

Milled True Path alignment lines run the full width of a golf ball across the head, giving golfers a precise centre-face reference at address. The black Pure Roll insert uses a combination of Surlyn and aluminium with grooves angled at 45 degrees to encourage consistent forward roll from the moment of impact. The redesigned sole curvature aids setup consistency, and the model is available in 36 inch (SuperStroke 2.0 XL 13.75 inch grip, right hand) and 38 inch (SuperStroke 3.0 17 inch grip, right and left hand) options.
