Fitted with a Ultralite Stiff flex graphite shaft.

The V Steel is one of the genuine classics. When it launched it changed how fairway woods were shaped, using a V shaped sole that reduced the contact area with the turf so the head could glide through rough and tight lies instead of getting caught up. Plenty of tour players kept one in the bag for years after it was replaced.

The head is a compact stainless steel design with a shallow face and a low centre of gravity, which is why it launches so easily from the fairway. It does not have any of the adjustability of a modern wood, but it does not really need it. For anyone who wants a simple, dependable 3 wood that gets the ball up without any fuss, this is a lot of club for the money.
