Fitted with a Project X Titan 70g stiff shaft.

The GTS3 is the current players fairway wood from Titleist, and it moves the multi material story on again. A wraparound composite crown extends further around the sides of the head than the previous generation, and all that saved mass gets repositioned lower in the clubhead. The result is higher launch with less spin and a noticeable step up in forgiveness for a head this compact.

Titleist have deliberately separated the GTS3 from the GTS2 this time around, which was a fair criticism of the previous GT2 and GT3 pairing. This one has a deeper face and a smaller profile behind the ball, plus a flattened sole that sits the leading edge tighter to the turf. The flight is properly quick and low launching. As a 3 wood in stiff flex, it is a strong player's club that rewards a consistent strike.
