The GTS300 is Titleist's answer for players who want more control off the tee without giving up distance, and it doubles as a genuine weapon off the deck. At 300cc the head is noticeably bigger than most mini drivers, which brings real stability to a club you can tee low, hit off the fairway or lean on when the driver is misbehaving. Titleist describe it as feeling like a 15th club and that is a fair shout, because it slots into the bag somewhere between a driver and a 3 wood and does both jobs properly.

The forged L-Cup face is the key to it. The insert wraps around the bottom of the club so strikes low on the face keep their ball speed and launch, which is exactly where mini drivers usually fall down from a tight lie. A composite crown over a titanium body pushes the centre of gravity deeper for more forgiveness, while the elongated tail section cuts drag and adds speed without you having to swing any harder. The Dual Weighting System lets your fitter set the head weight and CG to suit you, forward for a flatter, more penetrating flight or back for a steadier balance of speed, spin and stability.
