Built on an MMT 40 gram shaft as part of the ultra lightweight TSR1 configuration.

 

**NO HEADCOVER**

The TSR1 is Titleist's answer for players who do not swing it at 110 miles an hour, and it is a properly considered piece of engineering rather than a watered down version of something else. Titleist stripped every non essential gram out of the build, from the head through the shaft to the grip, because if a driver is going to be lightweight then every component has to be. Titleist aimed it at swing speeds below 90 miles an hour.

What makes it work is where the weight that remains ends up. The centre of gravity sits deeper than in any Titleist driver before it and almost perfectly centred to the face, which lifts MOI and produces a high launch with strong ball speed. Multi-Plateau Variable Face Thickness, the same idea used across the TSR range, builds the face inward in layers to protect ball speed on off centre strikes. This one is on the 40 gram shaft in regular, the standard men's TSR1 spec.
