The FG Tour V6 arrived in 2017 as Wilson Staff's forged players cavity back, and it has the classic Wilson look with a thin topline, compact blade length and very little offset. The heads are forged from 8620 carbon steel, which gives a soft, clear feel at impact and good feedback on where you struck it.

Where the V6 earns its place is the hidden weighting. The 5 iron carries tungsten split between the toe and heel for stability and an easier launch, the 6, 7 and 8 irons move it to the centre of the sole to lower the centre of gravity, and a concentrated block of mass sits behind the hitting area to keep a muscle back feel. This set is 5-PW in stiff flex, a good match for a consistent ball striker who still wants a bit of help.
