Yonex built the Ezone Elite 2 for golfers who need help getting the ball in the air and keeping it straight. The heads are cast stainless steel with a large profile, a wide sole and a semi gooseneck design that leans slightly towards a draw, while Octaforce face technology spreads ball speed further across the face. A double undercut cavity pushes weight low and out to the edges, which is what produces the high, easy flight these are known for.

This is a full nine club set running 5 iron to pitching wedge plus approach and sand wedges, on regular flex. It is a genuinely good value entry into a matched set, particularly for a newer golfer or anyone with a moderate swing speed who wants forgiveness above all else. Being a Yonex set it flies a little under the radar, which is exactly why it represents good money second hand.
