Full-Time Sales Assistant / PGA Assistant

Tony Valentine Golf Centre Corsham

A great opportunity to join the busiest custom fitting and teaching superstore in the southwest of England, we have a vacancy at our Corsham store in the heart of Wiltshire just outside Bath.
We have a position for a PGA Professional who is passionate about custom fitting and coaching. We have 3 newly refurbished fitting studios using the latest GCQUAD and Sam Puttlab technology. You would be joining a team of highly qualified PGA professionals, with ongoing custom fitting training to ensure 5-star knowledge and customer service.

PGA Professional role
• Building a client base to grow custom fitting.
Full training to be received to further enhance knowledge with our head of custom fitting. We also have great opportunities to visit the leading brands training and coaching facilities for product training, with tour level knowledge being passed on.
• Building a client base to grow coaching.
We are looking to grow the level of lessons given at our Corsham store. This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven individual, as we have a large footfall coming through the door every day.

We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Sales Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of golf products and a keen interest in the sport. As a Sales Assistant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting customers in selecting the right products, and contributing to the overall success of our store.

Key Responsibilities:

      •     Greet and assist customers with their golf product inquiries

      •     Strong knowledge of golf and golf products

      •     Provide expert advice on golf equipment, apparel, and accessories

      •     Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the latest golf products and trends

      •     Ensure the store is well-stocked and organized

      •     Handle sales transactions efficiently and accurately

      •     Assist with inventory management and stock replenishment

      •     Contribute to a positive and welcoming store environment

Requirements:

      •     Strong knowledge of golf and golf products

      •     Playing to a good level, preferably single figure handicap

      •     Excellent customer service and communication skills

      •     Previous retail experience preferred

      •     Ability to work full-time, including weekends and holidays

      •     Enthusiastic, approachable, and a team player

      •     Ability to lift and move merchandise as needed
