DRIVER SPECS
G425 MAX elevates the moment of inertia to PING’s highest level in history. Forgiveness comes mainly from a 26-gram tungsten movable weight, made possible by weight savings from advancements in the driver’s dragonfly crown technology. The CG-shifting weight can be set in neutral, draw or fade. A T9S+ forged face increases flexing for adding distance. Available in 9°, 10.5° and 12°.
Dragonfly® Refined Movable tungsten weights that vary by model are made possible by weight savings attributed to advancements in the drivers’ Dragonfly crown technology.
Highest MOI In the MAX, total MOI pushes a record 10,000, largely due to a 26-gram tungsten movable weight that shifts the CG lower and further back and can be secured in the Neutral, Draw or Fade setting.
Precision Forged Face A proprietary high-strength, precision-machined T9S+ forged face maximises flexing to deliver fast ball speeds and more distance.
Aerodynamic Design Refined crown turbulators reduce aerodynamic drag for increased swing speed and ball velocity.
Easy Adjustability Trajectory Tuning 2.0 utilises a lightweight, aerodynamic hosel sleeve that provides eight positions to customise your trajectory for maximum distance and accuracy.
Internal Ribbing PING engineers developed an internal rib structure in the Ti 8-1-1 body, reinforcing key sections of the head to improve acoustics for a solid, pleasing sound and better feel.
Trajectory Tuning Chart The lightweight, 8-position hosel enables adjustments for loft (±1.5°) and lie (3° flatter than std.) to further dial in your ball flight for the best results.
Stock Shaft The PING Alta CB Slate is counter-balanced with an 8-gram plug in the end to deliver more momentum and forgiveness for increasing ball speed and distance.

Perimeter Weighting A tungsten toe screw and hosel weight expand the perimeter weighting to create a new standard in forgiveness for an iron its size. The resilient hydropearl chrome finish repels moisture to improve performance from wet conditions.
Speed-Generating Face A variable-thickness, Hyper 17-4 stainless steel face in the metal-wood-style design delivers our fastest ball speed ever in the G-Series for generating higher, longer results with stopping power.
Stopping Power A patented cascading sole and top-rail undercut combine to perform like a hinge, flexing to launch the ball faster and higher with green-holding precision consistently and predictably.
Streamlined Look Its blade length is shorter than the G410 iron but the head has a higher MOI, and the clean, compact design presents an eye-pleasing address view that inspires confidence.
Multi-Material Badge Extensive finite element analysis was used to develop a three-piece, multi-material cavity badge that covers more of the face to damp undesirable frequencies for superb feel and sound.
Stock Shafts In the PING AWT 2.0 steel shaft, lighter long-iron shafts help square the clubface; short iron/wedge shafts are heavier for trajectory control and feel. The PING Alta CB Slate graphite option delivers high launch with stability and a consistent feel.
Smart Grips Arccos Caddie Smart Grips (Golf Pride Lite 360 Tour Velvet) in one of four sizes are standard. An embedded sensor automatically records and analyses every shot when paired with the Arccos Caddie app.
FAIRWAY SPECS
In the G425 fairways and hybrids, two shared PING innovations known as Facewrap™ and Spinsistency™ combine to deliver more distance and spin predictability for carrying trouble and hitting greens. A tungsten sole weight increases the MOI in the stainless steel heads for added forgiveness.
Spinsistency™ A modified roll profile provides more consistent spin, especially low on the face where loft decreases, to normalise spin and increase ball speed for added distance.
Maraging Steel Facewrap™ Thinner, high-strength steel wraps into the crown and sole to increase flexing for faster speeds that result in greater distance and high-launching shots.
Easy To Aim On the crown, a new 3-dot alignment feature provides golfers a visual cue to address the ball to best match their eye.
